Board Member Birthday Spotlight: Savannah Hall

Savannah is the manager for Neptune Society Sacramento. She began in funeral service in 2007 in Boise, Idaho. Her studies were initially geared toward Pathology, with the hopes of becoming a Coroner. Around the areas where she was living and working, the Coroner often served as the funeral director as well. This led her to attend Mortuary Science school, and she quickly fell in love with the funeral industry.

Having been a part of CFDA for the last couple of years, Savannah truly appreciates seeing how we all have the same passionate goals for our field. As a board member, she is an integral part of discussions of how to best serve our families; how to support our funeral homes; legislative updates; and addressing issues for improvements. Her professional goals include spreading more education and knowledge to the general public about how to prepare documents and wishes before one passes away.

While she keeps busy with Neptune Society and the CFDA, Savannah is not one to sit still! She enjoys baking, hiking, scuba diving, traveling with her husband, the occasional girl trip with her best friend, and lots of concerts. She stays physically active by participating in multiple recreation soccer teams and studying Krav Maga. Savannah also holds the position of Assistant Team Leader for her local Sheriff’s Search and Rescue group – another way she serves the public. Back at home, she cares for her four Dalmatians, a cat, and she is a fancy goldfish hobbyist! With all those passions and hobbies, there will be no shortage of fun to be had on your birthday!
