The California Funeral Directors Association (CFDA) is comprised of approximately 650 members throughout California - funeral homes and companies serving the funeral profession.

The purpose of the California Funeral Directors Association is to advocate and provide continuous professional development, and enhance the economic viability of member funeral service practitioners in order to provide services as desired by consumers.

• Design a 2010 Conference Logo taking into consideration information listed below.
• Deadline:  Submit by e-mail no later then Saturday, August 15.
• The winning logo will be selected August 27th.
• Only the winner will be contacted by Sept. 1.
• Logo will become property of CFDA and used throughout the year to promote the 2010 CFDA Conference held in San Diego, June 14-16, 2010, and used on all CFDA conference programs and materials.
• Winning designer will be featured in the fall issue of the CFDA Newslines.
• Email your final submission in a high-resolution jpg or tif format to cfda@amgroup.us. You will receive a confirmation that your design idea was received.  Contact CFDA if you do not get confirmation within 48 hours.

Conference details to take into consideration:

• June 14 - 16, 2010
• 106th Annual Conference held at the Bahia Resort, San Diego (website www.bahiahotel.com)
• We will be visiting the USS Midway (website www.ussmidway.org)
• We will enjoy a Mission Bay Paddleboat Dinner Cruise off Bahia Resort
• Many children's activities are offered at Bahia Resort
• Bahia Resort is surrounded by sand and beach activities
• Belmont Park is one block away (www.belmontpark.com)
• Most Resort Rooms are equipped with small kitchenettes
