Pay for the Funeral in Advance

A trust is created to safe guard funds for a future use. The money in the trust belongs to you. If you move, you can transfer the trust to another funeral home offering California Master Trust. You may even liquidate your money as necessary, if you have a revocable trust.

The California Master Trust funds are invested in accordance with the Business and Professionals Code, and Title 16, California Code of Regulations. Additionally, the trust files a report with the Department of Consumer Affairs annually. Over 68 million dollars are held in the California Master Trust.

When you meet with your funeral director to develop a funeral plan, the fees for burial items and services will be itemized. You can put funds into the trust so they will be available to pay for funeral arrangements.
